Why APC Excellence

What we do differently

Plenty of providers will take you through the RICS competency list. These are the things candidates tell us they do not find elsewhere.

01

Assessors, not just tutors

Both senior mentors serve as RICS APC panel assessors and counsellors, so the coaching reflects how candidates are actually assessed rather than how the process is described.

02

Every competency, not a selection

All 21 mandatory, core and optional competencies are covered, with 100+ CPD hours behind them. Nothing is held back as an upgrade.

03

One fee, range of benefits

Lectures, sample SOEs, case study selection and presentation support, SOE and case study review, mock interviews and referral support are all included in the one fee.

04

A panel-style mock, not a chat

Mock interviews run as a realistic three-member panel, followed by direct, actionable feedback while there is still time to act on it.

05

Coaching shaped to your route

Structured, preliminary review or non-structured - the programme content is the same, and what changes is the emphasis and the order we work through it.

06

Current material, not recycled notes

We keep the content current as RICS standards, laws and Acts change, and as AI reshapes how quantity surveyors work, so you prepare against what applies now rather than a slide deck written years ago.

07

Make Sure Your APC Presentation Hits the Mark

We help you develop, refine and practise your case study presentation through a dedicated 1-1 session, ensuring you are well prepared for one of the most critical parts of the Final Interview.

08

Help you draft your SOE as you go

Rather than waiting until all sessions are complete, we encourage you to draft each SOE shortly after the relevant competency session, while the learning and guidance are still fresh.

09

Revolutionary Candidate Management Platform "AXIS"

Our digital ecosystem that brings your entire APC journey into one place, tracking your progress, guiding you through each stage, and keeping you informed and up to date as you move towards the final assessment.
