Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 28 August 2026

These terms govern the mentoring services provided by APC Excellence Mentoring LLC. By registering for a programme, you agree to them. Please read them before making payment.

1. Definitions

2. The programme

The Regular programme runs over a structured duration of approximately four to six months, with live online sessions currently scheduled on Tuesdays and Saturdays, 19:00–22:00 UAE time. Programme inclusions are those listed on our website at the time you register.

The Premium programme is configured with a mentor on a case-by-case basis and its scope is confirmed in writing before payment.

We may adjust session dates, times, running order or delivery method where reasonably necessary. We will give you as much notice as practicable of any material change.

3. Registration and eligibility

Places are limited and are confirmed only once payment has been received and we have acknowledged your registration in writing. You are responsible for confirming your own eligibility and route with RICS. We can discuss your likely route with you, but we do not determine it.

4. Fees and payment

Regular programme - AED 4,000 (or the equivalent stated in SAR or QAR), payable as a single one-time payment.

Fees are stated exclusive of any bank charges or transfer fees, which are your responsibility. Access to sessions and materials is conditional on payment being received in full.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Programme fees are non-refundable. This is stated at the point of registration. Once a place is confirmed, the fee is not refundable whether or not you attend sessions, complete the programme, or subsequently withdraw.

If we cancel a cohort entirely and cannot offer you a place in a reasonable alternative cohort, we will refund the fee you paid for that cohort.

Requests to defer to a later cohort are considered at our discretion and are not guaranteed.

6. Your responsibilities

We may suspend or terminate access without refund where conduct is abusive, or where materials are shared or resold in breach of clause 7.

7. Intellectual property

All Materials remain our property or that of our licensors. You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own APC preparation. You may not record, copy, publish, resell or share Materials with third parties, including other candidates outside your cohort, without our written permission.

8. No guarantee of assessment outcome

We provide mentoring, coaching and review services. We do not guarantee that you will pass the APC assessment. The assessment outcome is determined solely by RICS through its own panel process. Nothing in our services, feedback or mock interviews constitutes a prediction, assurance or warranty of a particular result.

9. Independence from RICS

APC Excellence Mentoring LLC is an independent professional mentoring practice. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of RICS. References to RICS competencies, routes and assessment procedures are descriptive only. Our mentors’ roles as panel assessors are held in a personal capacity and are separate from the services provided under these terms; those roles do not give any candidate an advantage in assessment.

10. Conflicts of interest

Where a mentor would otherwise be assigned to assess a candidate they have mentored, that conflict is declared and managed in accordance with the relevant professional body’s rules. Candidates are not assessed by their own mentor.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the programme is limited to the fee you paid. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, opportunity or professional advancement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Data protection

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page when you register. Material changes affecting a cohort already under way will be notified to affected candidates.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah, and the courts of Sharjah have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you.
